Head Special Projects Officer: c/CPT Dalicia Stevens
Dalicia Stevens joined the Redhawk Battalion as a freshman in January of 2022. She started in Delta company and later progressed to a Private First Class that semester. For the 2022-2023 school year she served as the battalion S5 and was promoted the 2nd semester to Company Commander for Echo. Being company commander taught her the importance of commanding a room, planning ahead and staying organized. This school year she will be serving as the Battalion Special Projects Officer.

S-1: Administration & Human Resources Officer
Yvonne Gill joined the battalion in August of 2021. While in Bravo company she learned about presentation skills and marching. Later on she was promoted to a Private First Class. In January, of 2023 she was promoted to a Sergeant First Class and served as Echo Company's First Sergeant. While in Echo she learned different confidence and organization skills she would need to progress in the battalion. This year she will serve as the Battalion S-1 Officer. She looks forward to learning and growing together as a battalion as we head into this amazing school year!

S-2: Information & Security Officer: c/1LT Chance Nave
Chance Nave entered the RedHawk Battalion in August of 2021. He was later promoted to private first class. In his second year, he was placed into Echo Company and later became the Battalion Information and security officer (Battalion S2) position. He was later promoted to Sergeant. Starting this year he will continue to serve as the Battalion S2 and will hold the rank of 1st Lieutenant. His goals for this school year are to set an example and put new cadets on the track to success.

S-3: Training & Operations Officer: c/1LT Carolina Sanchez
S-4: Supply & Logistics Officer: c/1LT Ziyana Hairston
Ziyana Hairston joined the Redhawk Battalion in August 2022. She was in Alpha company where she was promoted to Private first class. Toward the end of her first semester, it was deemed that she had the leadership capabilities to be given the job title S-4.
She took JROTC again in her second semester where she was in Echo company and was promoted to Sergeant. This School year she will continue being the Redhawk Battalions S-4, with the rank of First Lieutenant. Her goals are to set an example and lead cadets in the direction of success. |
S-5: Public Affairs Officer: c/1LT TaKiva Tucker
TaKiva Tucker began her JROTC career in the fall semester of her Sophomore year, she was placed in Alpha company. During this semester, she participated in not only the Raider team but also served as an aid in planning trips and events for the Redhawk Battalion to attend. In part of her participation, she additionally played a vital role in fundraising–which helped contribute to her accomplishment of being promoted to Private First Class.
Cadet Tucker is in her second semester of JROTC where she now serves as Battalion S-5, bearing the rank of First Lieutenant after being promoted through an interview with the Battalion’s Executive Officer and Sergeant Major. With this new responsibility, she hopes to gain new leadership skills and use these skills to help encourage newer cadets to remain interested in JROTC and pursue a JROTC career that helps them improve personal traits that can be used in and outside of the program. |
